Gradency: Grading exams with AI

Grading stacks of handwritten exams takes a lot of time. Gradency helps instructors do it: they upload the answer key and the scanned exams, the app splits them per student and grades each one against a rubric using vision language models.

Instructors review the results and per-question feedback in a dashboard, and students get a private link to see their result and raise an objection if they disagree.

It started as a smaller tool called HolyGrader and grew into a full rebuild with a Python backend and a Next.js frontend.
